Sponsorship Terms of Service

1. What You're Buying

A Category Sponsorship on OwnOwensboro.com gives your business exclusive placement at the top of search results within one category (e.g., Fence, Plumbing, Roofing). Your business will also be able to post offers and deals visible to site visitors.

One sponsor per category. Once you claim a category, no other business can sponsor that same category while your sponsorship is active.

2. Pricing & Billing

• Monthly plan: $49/month, billed automatically each month via Stripe.
• Annual plan: $475/year, billed once upfront via Stripe. No refunds for partial years.
• Rate lock: Your rate is locked for life as long as your sponsorship remains active without interruption. If you cancel and re-subscribe later, current rates apply.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your monthly sponsorship at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — your listing stays live until then. Annual plans are non-refundable.

If you cancel, your category becomes available for other businesses to claim immediately after your billing period ends.

4. Your Responsibilities

• All business information you provide (name, phone, address, services) must be accurate.
• You may post offers and deals through your sponsor dashboard. Offers must be genuine and honored as described.
• You may not misrepresent your relationship with OwnOwensboro.com.

5. Our Responsibilities

• We will display your business as the featured sponsor in your claimed category.
• Sponsors also receive one sponsored Facebook post per week featuring their business.
• We will maintain the site in good working order. In the event of extended downtime (more than 7 consecutive days), we will extend your sponsorship by an equivalent period.

6. Content & Conduct

We reserve the right to remove your sponsorship listing (with a pro-rated refund for the current period) if:

• Your business information is found to be fraudulent or materially inaccurate.
• You post deceptive offers or engage in conduct that harms the platform's reputation.

7. Limitation of Liability

OwnOwensboro.com provides the platform "as is." We do not guarantee any specific number of leads, calls, or customers resulting from your sponsorship.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms with 30 days' notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance. Your locked rate will not change.
